The government bonus in the amount of:
- 6000 euros applies to electric vehicles not exceeding an electrical energy consumption of 160 watt-hour/kilometer, or
- 3000 euros applies to electric vehicles not exceeding an electrical energy consumption of 180 watt-hour/kilometer, or not exceeding 200 watt-hour/kilometer and the maximum net power of the propulsion system is less than or equal to 150 kilowatt;
for any vehicle covered by a rental contract concluded between October 1, 2024 and June 30, 2026 inclusive.
The amount of the government bonus reduces the investment value of the vehicle during the duration of the rental contract, including administrative costs relating to the application of said bonus. The application of the government premium on the rental vehicle implies a minimum holding period of 3 years by the lessee. This means that for any termination of the rental contract occurring before a period of 3 years (with exceptions), Arval will invoice the tenant for early termination fees, as well as the amount of the government bonus.
