    When to maintain your car?

Maintenance intervals are indicated in the instruction booklet in your car and there is usually a message on your dashboard. You can make an appointment yourself with one of Arval’s service partners. You can find them easily on My Arval or on the service locator page.

    Technical inspection

Arval will inform you when your car is due for technical inspection.  Make an appointment with the workshops authorized to perform this inspection. You can find them easily on My Arval or on the service locator page.

    What to check yourself?

As driver of the car, you should regularly check oil-level, level of cool-fluid and tyre pressure, ad-blue level (for some diesel cars). Guidelines for this you can find in the instruction booklet in your car.

Have your tyres replaced on time, by one of Arval’s tyre service partners

    When to replace my tyres?

Legally the minimum profile depth is 1.6mm.  Your safety is important to us, and we recommend to change tyres when they reach 2mm profile depth. You can make your own appointment with one of the official tyre specialists, You can find them easily on My Arval or on the service locator page.

    Winter tyres

If your contract includes winter-tyres, we recommend to change to winter-tyres when the temperature drops below 7 degrees Celcius. This is usually in the October-November period. Go back to summer-tyres between end March and end of April.  Make the appointment with the workshop who performed your previous tyre change.  If you take new winter-tyres, go to one of Arval’s service partners which you can find on My Arval or on the service locator page.
