FAQ

Is Long-Term Leasing accessible to a young company or a sole trader?

Long-term leasing is accessible to young companies as well as self-employed individuals. Some documents will be requested from you in order to set up your contract.
Long-term leasing does not, in principle, require an initial contribution at the time of contract signing. This solution allows you to quickly have a company vehicle without tying up significant capital. You benefit from a fixed monthly rent that allows you to control your budget and preserve your cash flow. Arval supports you at every stage to define the most suitable term, mileage and services for your needs. You benefit from a flexible, cost-effective mobility solution tailored to your professional needs.

What documents are required to subscribe to a long-term lease as a self-employed individual?

The documents to provide to subscribe to a long-term lease contract depend on your status (micro-entrepreneur or commercial company).
For a commercial company (SASU, EURL, etc):
A Kbis extract less than 3 months old.
The ID of the manager.
The Articles of Incorporation of the company.
A proof of address.
The financial statements and income statements of previous financial years.
Un RIB.

For a sole trader (or a traditional sole proprietorship):
Your ID.
A SIRENE status notice (available on the INSEE website).
The 2035 declaration or the URSSAF income certificate.
Income statements.
Your latest bank statements.

These documents allow Arval to review your file and provide you with an offer tailored to your situation.

Does long-term leasing help preserve my business's cash flow?

Yes, long-term leasing helps preserve your business's cash flow. Unlike purchasing a vehicle or leasing with an option to buy, long-term leasing generally does not require any mandatory upfront payment at the time of contract signing. You therefore do not need to tie up capital and can use your financial resources to develop your business.

You will then benefit from fixed rents, defined at the time the contract is concluded. This visibility allows you to control your budget and avoid unforeseen expenses related to vehicle ownership. You do not need to worry about the resale of the vehicle and its depreciation either.

What happens if my business evolves or if my mobility needs change?

The long-term lease contract adapts to changes in your business and needs. You can adjust the initial mileage package, extend or shorten* the term of the contract, or modify certain services associated with the vehicle.
This flexibility allows you to maintain a fleet tailored to your business and limit unnecessary costs. You benefit from a fully operational vehicle without the associated administrative constraints.
